I don’t get belts..How should I wear mine?

science, this! Let me get this straight.
So there are
essentially THREE broad reasons you want to throw in a belt into your outfit.
One, your waistline
on your lowers (pants, shorts, skirt) is loose in fit.
This is the when you can not do without a belt
and the emphasis on the look of the it is underplayed. Thus what you need is
a sturdy and correct width of belt which would do the job.

Two, your fit is
undefined and you want to highlight your waist
So all you need is the right
width to suit your garment. If you are in a dress, look at your length. If it
is short and flimsy, a thin, simple belt would work as it would go with the minimalism. On the contrary, even a broad, chunky and showy belt would be a great plan! Also a cloth belt tied around the waist of a loose fitted shirt can do wonders.
